It’s easy to see the “victim mentality” in people complaining about student loan debt or their life situation being the reason they aren’t where they want to be. But what about more subtle examples of the “victim mentality”? What about when you wonder to yourself about not having the “right” connections or not getting the promotion you thought you deserved? We’ve all played the victim card at some point. The difference is in your reaction and what you do with the initial thoughts of victimhood.
