Remi was born in Nigeria and moved to New York City with his brother and mother following the sudden death of his father. He grew up in a neighborhood of drugs, violence, and the never-ending search for respect which led him to selling drugs and illegal cell phone scams. In 2002 he joined the Navy and eventually became a Navy SEAL. He now spends his days writing books and TV/Movie scripts and serving underprivileged youth across the country.
