Liz Gonzales - Barstool Sports

If you are a fan of the online giant Barstool Sports, you are familiar with Liz Gonzales. It would be easy to see where she is today and think “it must be nice” or life has always been great for her. But what you haven’t seen is the 2-bedroom house she grew up in on the southwest side of Fort Worth, TX with her immigrant mother and 10 other family members. What you haven’t seen is the tenacity, and fight, and consistently starting from the bottom without any connections throughout her career that led her to fame with Barstool. It’s easy to see success and think it just happens, but in today’s episode we are reminded everyone’s path is unique and some of us have to take the long road to get there.
