Here at The DadLands, we have a bone to pick with these romantic movies that end with two people who have magically fallen in love by the end. We're supposed to believe that they go on to have a wonderful life together when in reality we know that's when it gets really hard. Take the movie Cocktail. We did. My panel of esteemed funnymen (Michael Bunin, Patrick Keane, and Scott Feldman) break down just how ridiculous it is to think that a bar owner in Manhattan (Tom Cruise) and an artist (Elisabeth Shue) have twins in New York and survive marriage. We give a more honest take on how this story ends. Cocaine Addiction, Affairs, Resentment... it ends horribly. And hilariously funny.
