#94 - The Best Holiday TV Episodes with Kathi Lipp

Is anything better than watching our favorite characters in our favorite shows engage in holiday hijinks? Or learning something brand-new about those characters when they go home for the holidays or attempt to roast a turkey or win the ugly sweater contest? I don’t know for sure, but I do know that I love a good holiday episode of my fave TV shows. And that’s why my friend and friend of the show, Kathi Lipp, is here to help me make a list of the best (or, at least, our favorite) holiday TV episodes. Kathi is a best-selling author, nationally respected speaker, and podcast host—and my soul mate when it comes to a love of sitcoms. And apparently she’s also here to challenge me and my lack of legitimate holiday movie knowledge. Because—as you know, this is The Couch, where rabbit trails and side notes are always welcome—we get into our annual must-watch holiday movies, and I have the nerve (the nerve!) to confess I have seen neither Die Hard nor It’s a Wonderful Life. If you’re just as appalled as Kathi, listen on to hear her explain just exactly why I need to remedy this tragedy immediately! MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Big Bang Theory Parks & Recreation Modern Family Ted Lasso Gilmore Girls Chuck Mom The Mindy Project West Wing New Girl Happy Endings Friends The Goldbergs ALSO MENTIONED: Hooked on Holiday Movies –This is your hub for all things holiday movies!
