Malcolm Bisset: Come to the waters

In Isaiah 55, God invites us to come to Him and find refreshment and nourishment. Just as we experience physical thirst and hunger, God wants us to have a spiritual thirst and hunger for His Word. The Scriptures are like water that quenches our thirst, providing life and refreshment to our souls. They are like milk that nourishes us, helping us grow in our salvation. And they are like wine that brings joy and gladness to our hearts. When we dive into the Scriptures, seeking God's thoughts and listening for His voice, we will find rivers of living water flowing into our lives, empowering us to impact the world around us. So let's come thirsty, ready to drink deeply from the abundance of God's Word, and let's allow it to transform us from the inside out.
