Former Major League Lacrosse player and co-founder of Lacrosse the Nations, Brett Hughes, joins The Brink of Midnight Podcast with John Brenkus. Brett is a one-of-a-kind change maker. Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, he was an All-State high school athlete in both football and lacrosse. He chose to pursue lacrosse at University of Virginia, where he was a three-time All American and captured the National Championship. Brett went on to play professional lacrosse for the MLL (Major League Lacrosse) for the New Jersey Pride, Los Angeles Riptide, and Denver Outlaws and was named both an All Star and MVP. He's really done it all in lacrosse, including co-founding Lacrosse the Nations, an organization helping children in need around the world.  Brett's passion for sport, travel, and serving others is contagious. He's currently doing good from a new home base abroad in Paris with his singer songwriter wife, Kate Voegele, who was also a former podcast guest!
