+++ New all acoustic cover-album with kindred spiritual songs +++ Two sisters making music and working entrepreneurial together +++Today I'm taking you to Nashville, Tennessee, where I will introduce you to Larkin Poe's two sisters. Rebecca and Megan grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, what initially gave them the nickname "the little sisters of the Allman Brothers". Their sound is characterized by traditional blues, southern, roots rock - with a lot of slide guitar and great harmony vocals. Larkin Poe have now released five albums with mainly original songs and toured the world several times before Covid 19. I discovered them a few years ago through their classy cover versions on the web, some of the videos have several million views. So it made sense to use the current tour break to release some of these acoustic covers on one album.
