Allowing people to show up for you, and telling them specifically what you need is so necessary in the coping and healing processes. It’s okay to ask a grieving person what they need. A wedding can be a beautiful time to memorialize those who are no longer with us, but do so in a way that will not feel too heavy or invasive of your happy day. Your loved ones would absolutely want your wedding to be a beautiful, happy celebration. It’s also okay to have sad moments. Life happens. Your feelings are valid.
