Finding Your Joy

Today, we are going to be talking about joy! Everyone wants joy. Everyone wants to feel happy. But how? Where can I find it? We are taught to attach our joy to temporary things.  If you want to be happy and never be sad, go and achieve these temporary things that won’t last. There is no way that a temporary thing will provide you with everlasting joy. Nope. Not gonna happen. No way. Why in the world did we buy into the idea that forever joy, forever happiness can come from things that fade away? It fades away, so we search for it even harder and eventually we become slaves to it. We start to place our security in it.  We focus more on it than on God, and that is an idol.So...how can I be one of those people who are joyful and content in any circumstance, not just when things are going right in my life?  I don’t want to be stuck in neutral. I don’t want to be worried all the time, I want to be joyful all the time! I want to be that truly happy person! Not the person that ignores her cares blindly, but that person who can still find joy even if the situation is not a joyful one. How can I be that person?--------------------------------Have you been wanting to grow that more intimate relationship with God or spend more time in the word but just don’t know where to start? Grow in your faith, grow a closer relationship with God, and grow your confidence in Christ, not self! And it’s time that we start using it to conquer our fears and doubts that we aren’t good enough or we can’t hear God’s voice. It’s time to transform into powerful, women of God who can overcome any obstacle all in the name of Jesus. If you are ready for guidance for your daily walk with God, you are in the right place.
