Real Steel

Real Steel has got some serious realness to it. One of those films that always wanted to see as a kid, and last year I finally did. It totally lived up to the excitement of Robot Boxing, but surprised me with the level of heart it had and how much I was emotionally touched by the film. These characters feel like people, have relatable experiences, not characters. It's something that allows the film to last much longer than you would think. It's cliché and totally predictable, but that's a good thing, because in this underdog story - the underdog is someone who you really want to win. So let's talk about what makes Real Steel so real! ---In the near future, robot boxing is a top sport. A struggling ex-boxer feels he's found a champion in a discarded robot.Staring Hugh Jackman, Evangeline Lilly, Anthony Mackie, and Kevin Durand. ---Show NotesLeave a Review on Podchaser for an entry to with a $10 movie gift card.
