Jess discusses her current descent, and the powerful work she's going through in order to heal deep layers of her childhood trauma. We discuss why initiations and descents are so important, especially as guides who hold space for others' deep healing. We discuss why it is so imperative that we form an intimacy with grief, and how it can really ripen you and pull you deeper into this richness of this life. Living in a society that shames the grieving process, we have lost our ability to process it in a healthy way. We discuss how our work is always pulling us deeper into our own healing and informing the ways in which we process our own grief, and are then able to hold a bigger container for the healing of our clients, family, and friends.
