#127: Turning Your Obstacle Into An Opportunity

Inez Edwards Savage was the first African American to compete in the Miss New York State Pageant leading up to the Miss America pageant. Two years later the second African American, Vanessa Williams would win both the Miss New York State and the Miss America Title. Inez lived in Los Angeles for 13 years pursuing a career in film and television. Her first acting job in Hollywood began on a television show called “Moonlighting” starring Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepherd. She has worked on and off camera with celebrities such as Will Smith, Eddie Murphy, and Queen Latifah. She is the author of "Your Journey With God: 31 days of personal Affirmations & Actions", She is also a Confidence and Health Coach / Motivational Speaker for women over fifty. Inez has her own Instagram Live talk show called “The Inspiration Show with Inez." The show gives  her an opportunity to talk about both inspirational and critical issues in a creative form.
