A southern Tasmanian garlic grower has been sentenced to 11 months jail for illegally importing garlic bulbs into the state from the US and Canada, and Letitia Ware will be eligible for parole in two months after pleading guilty in Hobart Supreme Court to importing over 2,000 bulbils.
