The amount of Tasmanian farmland owned by overseas investors now stands at 26 point 2 percent, more than a quarter of local farmland is owned overseas, and the investment in Tasmanian farmland over the past 12 months was the largest in Australia after a 7 point 3 per cent increase to the end of June 2020.
