聊台灣文學作品《亞細亞的孤兒》。In this new series, I’m going to talk about some Taiwanese literature works. Today’s book: Orphan of Asia by Wu Chuo-liu(1900-1976). He was born into Japanese-controlled Taiwan, when being Taiwanese was — complicated. He explores this muddled identity in the book. Interestingly, he wrote “Orphan of Asia” in Japanese.
