What If

What would your life be like if you truly subscribed to a life dedicated to the pursuit of virtue and knowledge?  Virtue keeps you out of trouble and focused on your goals and knowledge put into practice leads to wisdom. Think about this quote from Dante..."Consider your origins, you were not formed to live like brutes, but to follow virtue and knowledge".  I would change one word in this quote.  I would change the word follow to pursue.  Following is too passive; you must pursue the things you seek.  The new quote would be "Consider your origins, you were not formed to live like brutes, but to pursue virtue and knowledge".
