Equality

In this episode we'll consider equality.  What is equality?  Equality certainly doesn't mean same outcomes; even though there are people who try to push that narrative.   Equality means that people should be treated the same without consideration given to race, gender, age, and so on.  Equality should be applied to the law.  In other words, all people should be subject to the same laws without favoritism.  Another way to put that is that all people should be held accountable in the same way to the same degree. While the U.S. Constitution alludes to all men being created equal, the sad reality is that we are not equal, even from birth.  Some are predisposed to higher or lower I.Q. than others.  Some will be better at sports, while others will be better at academics.  We're all different and unique, and that's a good thing. The word equality and the concept of equality is used too broadly in today's society.  The truth is, we're only equal, as a concept, in a very narrow way.  And, again, equal does not mean equal outcomes regardless of talent or effort.
