Episode 356: Welsh Indians

Stories abound of encounters with Indians with blond hair and blue eyes. There are stone forts in Georgia and Tennessee, said to have been built by Welshmen. Luis and Clark were shown skeletons with metal breastplates. The Mandan Indians spoke many Welsh words and lived in villages laid out like European towns. The "Columbus Discovered America" crowd still refuse to accept, there were many people visiting the Americas long before 1492.
