In December 2023 Jay Stevens walked to Everest Base Camp via the traditional route from the town of Lukla. In doing so he became the first paraplegic to walk to Mount Everest base camp without a wheelchair. It was a journey full of belly aching laughs, incredible determination and a dream driven by the overpowering need to keep getting after it. Jay showed unwavering energy and enthusiasm during the EBC trek, he blew us away with his positivity and desire to keep moving long after the sun had set each day.
