#22 – Your feedback to the last episodes and why recruiters would not like my cover letters

“I wonder that Finnish recruiters have liked it.” That was one reaction on my published cover letters. I had shared the e-book (available here https://www.michaela-kettner.coach/ebook) on social media and it was discussed a lot. First of all – thank you for all your feedback! And also recruiters and hiring managers expressed their opinions and this statement was a really interesting one. What do we learn from that? The feedback from recruiters, who have seen my four published cover letters, wondered that I got invited to the job interviews. To them, the cover letters did not fit into the pattern they would recommend. However, with these cover letters I was each time invited to the interviews. So obviously, I have done something right to be successful. Obviously, not one size fits all. Obviously, the goal is to make specific people aware of your skills instead of acting according to a template that is liked by everyone!
