In the most simplistic terms, the price of an investment is based on perceived future value. That applies to stocks, art, watches, books, property, and more. We’re trained to think that way and therefore, it should come as no surprise we’re trying to apply that same construct to crypto. Maybe though, because we don’t quite understand just what crypto will eventually become, we can’t apply the same pricing mechanisms.
