Britain's most iconic national heroes (incl. Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Francis Drake & Lord Nelson) have been denounced by #BLM protestors, with calls for their memorials to be demolished or banished. In response -- and without any public consultation -- institutions, councils and companies have made highly controversial & polarising decisions regarding some of the most visible elements of British culture, history & identity, from the removal of historic statues to the renaming of public spaces and even the banning of some of the nation's favourite comedy shows/episodes.
