SMEGHEADS: THE RED DWARF PODCAST - SEASON 1 EPISODE 3 - 'BALANCE OF POWER'

This episode is all about Rimmer trying to assert himself and establish a recognised hierarchy on Red Dwarf, even though it's only himself and Lister aboard. He does this by bribing Lister into doing things by rewarding him with cigarettes he has hidden in an air duct. Lister aims to counteract this situation by passing the Chef's exam, automatically making him Rimmer's superior, and therefore disrupting the "balance of power" currently aboard Red Dwarf. Rimmer resorts to some sneaky tactics to try to put Lister off. It sounds fine when written down, but this episode is weak compared to anything else in Season 1. Beside the Red Dwarf stuff we also hear startling revelations about Daniela's drinking games, and Jed attempts a joke about a crocodile.
