Parallels are drawn in wider evolution of notions and cosmological maps from antiquity arising into the modern and postmodern psycho-analytical approaches. The key dimensions to the tenants and purpose of character reformation and the presentation of the dynamic changing self and its relational nature on a multitude of levels are presented via references to a wide array of the original prophetic teachings, Qur’anic revelation coupled with varying contributions of an array of Sufi insights in the vast arena of self-knowledge. Emphasis on the living transformative processes are presented while encouraging analytical, contemplative dimensions in living by the prophetic code of transformation.  Fundamentally the wide array of knowledge streams of character evolution and refinement are presented as both essential, necessary and progressive phenomena in the pursuit and drive towards abiding by, awakening to and living in, the constancy of essential nature and truth.
