I tell my kids Yes strive to be the best BUT in life, it’s really who you know and the connections you make that’s going to get you noticed. I’ve been in radio for over 20years. From day one, as a college intern, I made it my goal to be the best intern on the team. I was almost obsessive about it. Being good at my job did help get me to where I am today but I really started to get recognized for my hard work and saw greater success once I started to make connections and develop relationships with the right people. This week Jaclyn Mellone aka the Go-To Gal teaches us how to make those connections that lead to opportunities.
