Finding the Time for Self-Care in a Too Busy Life
Self-Care for Extremely Busy Women - Ein Podcast von Suzanne Falter
It’s our 150th episode—and it’s time to celebrate the power of self-care to heal your life. Go Team Self-Care! THANK YOU for listening and give this show life! Who do you know who needs to know about our show? Please let them know about it by sharing this link: https://suzannefalter.com/xbwpodcast/ Sometimes it’s hard to imagine how you can peel yourself up off the couch at the end of the day, and shift things in life to allow for more self-care. But self-care is where the mojo is – and you must know that or you wouldn’t be here. This is where our self-esteem, creativity and personal power all come from. I begin this show by sharing a key section of the book that inspired this podcast, The Extremely Busy Woman’s Guide to Self-Care. It’s a chapter titled “Have You Forgotten Who You Are?” and it’s followed by these journaling questions just below. Sometimes journaling on questions like these breaks the logjam of our resistance to self-care. Cause in the end, friend, it’s all up to you. This is for you if there’s just no-way-no-how you can find time to, say, exercise. Or take a nap. Or get your nails done. Or go on vacation. My friend, it all boils down to willingness. Are you willing to take good care of you? That’s why we’re here today … so take a listen. Suzanne’s Journaling Prompts: What are some activities or places you adored when you were a little kid? Who did you hope you’d become when you grew up? What are three of your happiest memories? What have you been longing to do? Whom have you been longing to see? Where have you been longing to go? What are some things you still deeply enjoy? What’s missing in your life that needs to be retrieved? Hope this provides delight… thanks for being in my world.
