Today’s meditation is a Minute of Joy. For all the interruptions of life, the bad news, the angry person, the bill, the bad health report, or friendships gone astray, for all the interrupters, stop for a Minute of Joy Meditation. It’s done like this: identify the problem. Select a mantra or an affirmation of truth to counter the problem. Recite the affirmation. OK when bad news comes, and it will, the minute you remember - say your affirmation. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, smile on the inside, and say your affirmation. It could be a promise that God gave you in his word, say that. Whatever it is say it as many times as you wish. Every time you get frightened and scared because a problem presents itself, remember your affirmation. Suggestions for affirmations - I am beautiful, I am happy, I am loved, I am perfect in all my ways, I am fearfully and wonderfully made, God loves me, God is my father and my protector, God is my provider, God is my shield and my Buckler of whom should I be afraid, God is abiding with me always,I am in Christ, Christ is in me.
