Anne-Marie Culhane is motivated by a love for and fascination with the abundance and complexity of our world and an urgency to respond to the accelerating damage to our planetary ecosystems. Her practice involves listening, observation and responding to or with people or places often in collaboration and through dialogue, doing and making - usually in the land. She works as artist, activist, mentor, collaborator and co-ordinator. Her practice is inspired by permaculture and she works across a range of disciplines including visual arts, installation, performance, text, design and craft.
