#47 - Neal McDonough: Putting God First While Facing Hollywood

“In fire, gold is tested.” -  Sirach Chapter 2

Today we have my friend and favorite person, Neal McDonough! Neal is a devout Catholic, Husband, Father, Actor, and overall good person. Anytime I speak to Neal, I learn so much and wish I could talk to him for hours.

We cover a lot on this episode.

  • How Neal always puts his family and God first, then himself second and how that can lead to saying no to opportunities.
  • His early life playing every type of sport you can think of, then getting a contract to pitch for the Pittsburgh Pirates, while at the same time landing one of his first roles in Hollywood as Lou Gehrig.
  • How the love of his wife; Ruvé, keeps him a better man and the exciting producing journey they’re now going on together.
  • Then how he recognizes that as his career elevates, so does this responsibility to be God’s son and spread His word elevates.
  •

There is so much more to look forward to! Get ready to hear the gospel and fall in love with Neal McDonough. And make sure to check out his next movie “Boon” coming to screens on April 1st!
