We interviewed Brian Pownall. Brian started his journey in real estate investing to leverage capital to build generational wealth and improve local communities. He is an oil and gas engineering manager with 10 years of experience focused in asset management, acquisitions and divestitures, budgetary planning, and private equity. Brian has evaluated hundreds of deals, building complex cash flow models and delivering investor presentations to help lead deals such as a $500 MM acquisition. While working as an asset lead, Brian was responsible for overseeing a $800 MM annual budget in Oklahoma. Real estate investing provides an opportunity for Brian to utilize similar workflows and techniques to generate competitive returns for investors. As a former Texas A&M Aggie (Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering) Brian is a proud Texan and looks forward to future investments in the state and other Southern US markets. His private market investments currently include interest in a couple hundred multifamily units, a commercial real estate fund, and venture capital.
