1186: David Jacobs Tribute - Friday Night is Music Night

In May 2016, Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night presented a special edition to remember David Jacobs, who would have been 90 that week. West End star singers Hannah Waddingham, Rodney Earl Clarke, Gary Williams and Michael Ball featured, with Radio 2 fellow presenters offering hugely fond tributes in the ‘interval’. The programme was hosted by Emma Jacobs, David’s daughter.
