Eleven years ago ‘Beached Az’ was born - a 90-second animation series featuring random conversations between a Kiwi seagull and his mate the whale who is, well, beached as. Next week Beached Az returns to our screens with ‘Beached Aziversary’, and we are stoked to chat with Beached Az co-creator and voice of Seagull, Anthony McFarlane about the the new mission of Whale and Seagull to ‘Kck the sht’ out of global warming (it’s from their press release so we fgure thet’s ok!) . Back in August, Bron spoke with musician and surfer Ash Grunwald when he was in Melbourne to launch his new book ‘Surf by Day, Jam by Night', capturing Ash’s conversations with surfers and musos about the things that drive them to do what they love. Tune in to hear Bron and Ash chat about things surfers and musos have in common - some of it technical, some of it artistic, but also a mutual growing critical drive to do whatever can be done to help resolve growing environmental crises around the world.
