Vocations 2021 - Episode 09 - Wellspring Community Ben Gray is a husband, father and teacher.  He is a founding member and current leader of The Wellspring Community.  In addition to his work for The Wellspring Community, Ben has spent the last 12 years teaching Philosophy and Theology in Catholic schools. This week, he shares what Vocations means to him and how he and his community is rooted in Jesus Christ, lives in the freedom of the Gospel and shares this life abundantly with others.  At the heart of the Wellspring Community life is the call to communion with God and others. Their inspiration comes from the early Christian community in Jerusalem (Acts of the Apostles Chapters 2 and 4), and they take the Rule of St Benedict as their guide.  We seek “to prefer nothing whatever to Christ” (Rule of St Benedict), rooting our hearts every day in Him through personal prayer, listening to God’s Word, and celebrating the Divine Office. Called to follow Jesus in a wholehearted way, they are dedicated to a life of continual conversion – to be transformed in Christ. Their mission to form disciples flows from this contemplative life.
