Gifts of the Holy Spirit - Episode 4 - The gifts of the Spirit and the history of the Church The Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the History of the Church. Today, in the 4th of this series, Fr Sam is joined by Brother Angelo of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. Brother Angelo is from a large American Catholic family and grew up near Steubenville. He joined the Franciscans in 2007 and has served at St Fidelis Friary in London and is now based in Bradford where the community runs a soup kitchen and drop-in for the homeless.  Br Angelo is the European vocations director for the community and, unusually, he has remained a lay brother. Among his interests are Ignatian spirituality and charismatic ministry. Together Fr Sam and Br Angelo explore the gifts of the Spirit in the context of the history of the Church.
