My guest today is Lorenza Antonucci. Lorenza is an Associate Professor and Birmingham Fellow in the Department of Social Policy, Sociology and Criminology at the University of Birmingham in the UK. Her research and teaching focuses on the impact of European social policies on people’s lives, and she is currently leading two major research projects, GIGWELL, about the gig economy, and PRECEDE, about the economic and cultural roots of populism in Europe.
