Origins: The Zev Shalev Interview

Description: In this far-reaching and personal discussion, Greg Olear talks to “Narativ Live” host Zev Shalev about Zev Shalev. Born in Israel in 1972, Zev emigrated with his family to South Africa when he was four years old. He began his career as a DJ and radio news editor, and in the last days of apartheid, set up the country’s first interview with Nelson Mandela after his historic vote. In his 20s, Zev moved to Canada, where he worked a variety of TV production jobs, before moving to New York to work at CBS. That’s when his life came to a screeching halt. After a dark period, he returned to news reporting after the election of 2016, founding “Narativ Live” to take the fight to Trump. Plus: Don Junior joins Cameo.
