For this episode of Planet MicroCap Podcast, I spoke with Vitaliy Katsenelson, CEO and CIO of IMA. I came to know Vitaliy by finding his profile on Twitter. From there, I started reading his blog, listening to his podcast and read a few of the available chapters of his book, and knew I had to reach out to have him on. In this interview we focus quite a bit on how the more you know yourself, then the more informed you’ll be about what type of investing strategy and investor you will be. As Vitaliy states in the interview, and I’m paraphrasing here, “investing is like clothes shopping. Some will look great, but when you try them on, that clothing item may not fit right. You try on different clothing that looks good, and eventually you find what works for you.” The goal for this episode is to learn how Vitaliy looked inward to understand what investing strategy would work best for him.
