S3 Ep102: Jane James: The CEO

In this episode we chat to Jane James, the Founder and CEO of a wonderful company called Little Voices that works with young people across the UK. Jane talks to us about the benefits she felt when she decided to go alcohol-free, and how she navigated her sobriety when she was starting a new relationship with her now husband (she met him after she'd just completed a 30 day break from alcohol, but it took her a little longer to go completely AF). She also talks to us very honestly about the physical and mental breakdown she experienced when she was 18 months alcohol-free due to stress - and how becoming alcohol-free isn't the magic solution to all of life's problems. We talk about how being alcohol-free is often the first (and crucial) step in a much bigger health and wellness journey - and how finding ways to switch off and unwind without alcohol is a massively important part of the process. If you'd like to find out more about Jane or her company Little Voices, just search for "Little Voices" on social media - and don't forget to listen to her new podcast, The School Run, which is available now on all podcast apps! --- Get In Touch: Of course, you can always get in touch with us (publicly or privately) on our socials - @alcoholfreepod on Instagram, or search for "Over The Influence" on Facebook.
