S3 Ep100: John Clark: The Meal Prep King

In this episode we chat to John Clark, who is also known as The Meal Prep King. Shaz has got John's books on her shelf in the kitchen - but very nearly got rid of them last year after John made the headlines for all the wrong reasons. John has got hundreds of thousands of followers on his Instagram account and did a live video in which he said some really offensive things. He lost his publishing deal as a result of it, he lost a lot of money, and he also lost his girlfriend - but despite losing all of this, in this conversation John says that it was a small price to pay to finally find sobriety. In one of our most honest chats yet, John apologises for the things he said on Instagram and accepts that what he said was wrong. However, he also tells us the story behind what happened and the role that alcohol played in it - not just in this very public moment on social media, but in his life in general until six months ago when he decided to knock it on the head for good.
