Historic memory, spanish civil war, contemporary struggles and the experience of a woman

We spoke to Judith Berlowitz about her forthcoming novel, her art and outlook on the historical memory of the Spanish civil war in general but of women especially. The book is a rich layering of historical facts  and contemporary relevant issues told through the fascinating character of Klara, a German jewish woman who finds herself in the middle of events in Spain of the 30s, a character that is based on a real relative of Judith's going through real events.  https://www.judithberlowitzauthor.com/ https://shewritespress.com Publicist: Caitlin Hamilton Marketing & Publicity, LLC [email protected]

Om Podcasten

We explore the relationship between International arts and the class struggle. Interviews, Commentary and audio art. We are Outa-space because artists often lack the place to make and create work. We are Outa-space because the street, the squares, online and all the common places we mix in are where we need to decide our future. We are Outa-space because we need to take our minds above the clouds to look down on our planet, to dream, to wonder, but also to see everything in the context of everything else.
