Today’s word of the day is ‘clean up in aisle 5’ as in baseball is a mess as in the foreign-substance checks have turned the baseball world upside down. Max Scherzer was not happy about getting checked pitching against the Phillies and then the unthinkable happened… Phillies manager Joe Girardi asked for the umps to check Scherzer again and he lost it. Girardi challenged him to a fight. Girardi was tossed. Sergio Romo of the Athletics was checked and pulled down his pants right on the field. MADNESS!
