Thriving through a stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 38 - New blood test, Circulating tumor DNA
Melissa Colonna born and raised in Chicago, IL but has lived in Denver, Colorado area for the last 8 years. She lives with her husband, Don, their two young boys, and two high energy dogs. Nathan is 4 and Nolan is 2 years old. Melissa currently works in the aviation industry in Quality Assurance. She loves exploring the Rockies through hiking and cross-country skiing. She developed breast cancer in October 2021 at the age of 38 and was already stage 4 at the initial diagnosis. She enjoys sharing the knowledge she’s learned through her diagnosis and treatment in the hopes that it will help others. She is so grateful to all those strong women that went through this before her and wants to pay it forward.
