84: Braincare: How to feed your brain and thrive with Dan Murray-Serter

My guest this week is Dan Murray-Serter. Dan is a serial entrepreneur, the co-founder of a brain care company called Heights and the host of the UK’s number one business podcast, Secret Leaders.Dan’s journey actually began from his own struggles with mental health: trying to solve his chronic anxiety and six-month-long insomnia. He tried everything from self-medicating with alcohol, without alcohol, saw a therapist, a doctor but to no avail. But when a friend asked whether he had considered his brain’s nutrition as a cause, he decided to see a dietitian. He found out that he didn’t have key nutrients needed for his brain and she recommended high quality supplements. His sleep dramatically improved.Dan’s life is now focused on how he can improve brain care and he has created the ‘Smart Supplement’ to help others on the same journey and teach them about how to feed the brain for it to thrive.
