Slow TV - Thomas Hellum (and Barack Obama) talk about a train and a cow...

Season 2 of the Nordic Future Makers podcast kicks off by talking to Thomas Hellum from Norway's NRK TV channel - with a little help from Barack Obama. This is the story of Slow TV. The story of how a Norwegian TV broadcaster ended up creating some of the longest and most watched shows in Norwegian TV history. This has started a trend of Slow TV across the world and Thomas tells us how the idea for Slow TV came about and how it has developed - a nice 'slow' start to the second series as we finish our summer vacations and head back to work again. I am fascinated by SlowTV and I hope you enjoy our conversation, plus look out for some bonus podcast content from this conversation in the next few days too! (And if you want to see any of the Slow TV content we talk about, then you can head to the NRK website or search for 'SlowTV' on Netflix, YouTube etc.) Music is by E.Burcher. #nordicfuturemakers Hosted on Acast.
