The Week Ahead – 19 August 2022

In this episode of our Week Ahead series, we’ll be looking at the main themes that will drive global markets over the coming week. In the US we have the Jackson hole meeting, core PCE, PMIs, Durable goods and inflation expectations. In Europe it’s the big survey week with PMIs, consumer and business confidence indices as well as political moves. Then it’s the energy crisis, droughts, Ukraine’s counter offensive, events in Asia and the current state of Global markets all to discuss.
