The Week Ahead – 15 July 2022

In this episode of our Week Ahead series, we’ll be looking at the main themes that will drive global markets over the coming week. In the US we have the manufacturing PMIs, housing data and markets in a Fed blackout period waiting to see if we get a 100bps rate hike. In Europe we have the ECB meeting, consumer confidence and PMIs, Russia Grain negotiations, the Nordstream 1 shutdown risk, a UK Prime minister leadership race and UK CPI. Then it’s the BI and BOJ meetings along with Japan CPI, the RBA minutes, Canada CPI, events in Asia and the current state of Global markets all to discuss.
