Newton Talks - The Management & Consultancy Podcast for Curious Minds - Ein Podcast von Newton Europe

Meet Mario Moussa, a management consultant turned award-winning author. His latest book, The Culture Puzzle, represents the culmination of over 75 years worth of expertise on an anthropological approach to workplace culture. Mario has taught at the world's leading academic institutions, with work published in the Journal of Business Anthropology.
With over a decade's experience applying anthropology to business contexts, Mario sits down with Brad Jennings, a People and Change Director at Newton, to tackle the question: What is anthropology, and why should we care about it in the workplace?
In this first episode of our fourth season, amongst other things, Mario and Brad discuss different organisational culture types. The two take us on a journey as they delve into how culture impacts employee attitudes and performance, asking: How can anthropology help organisations change?
Mario helps us understand how this often overlooked discipline can help us build better, more resilient workplace cultures and reminds us of the crucial importance of listening to our people, since they are the heart and soul of any organisation.
This season was inspired by the findings in our national workplace culture report. Using the research as a launch pad for some refreshing conversations with leading experts, the episodes further unpack the biggest questions that organisations are facing today.
