For the first episodes we will talk to artists from the This Is Not Lebanon Festival, those episodes will be in English. The other episodes will be featuring artists who show their work at Sommerbau and those episodes will be in German. In this episode we have two guests: Florian Weber and Rabih Lahoud. Both will be playing together with members of the Ensemble Modern in a concert that will be closing the This Is Not Lebanon Festival. Florian Weber is a pianist and jazz-composer. He already worked twice with the Ensemble Modern. It is the first time for Rabih Lahoud to play with the Ensemble Modern. In den ersten Folgen, werden wir mit Künstler*innen vom This Is Not Lebanon Festival sprechen. Diese Folgen werden auf Englisch sein. Die anderen Folgen, in denen wir mit Künstler*innen sprechen, die ihre Arbeiten im Sommerbau-Programm zeigen, werden auf Deutsch sein. In dieser Folge haben wir zwei Gäste: Florian Weber und Rabih Lahoud. Beide werden gemeinsam mit Mitgliedern des Ensemble Modern ein Konzert spielen, was das This Is Not Lebanon Festival abschließt. Florian Weber ist Pianist und Jazz-Komponist. Er hat bereits zweimal mit dem Ensemble Modern gearbeitet. Für Rabih Lahoud ist es das erste mal, dass er mit dem Ensemble Modern spielt. Der libanesische Sänger lebt seit einigen Jahren in Deutschland und ist Mitglied der Band Mazaa, welche zeitgenössischen Jazz, World Music und arabischen Klängen und Poesie.
