Author Dana Kay ON: Naturally Reducing ADHD Symptoms in Your Child

As a mother of a child with ADHD, author and Board-Certified Holistic Health and Nutrition Practitioner Dana Kay knows firsthand the struggles that come with parenting a neurodiverse child. She also knows the freedom that is possible once parents learn to reduce ADHD symptoms. In this episode Dana shares shares her personal journey of parenting a child with ADHD, as well as her unique and proven strategies for reducing symptoms naturally. More than 6 million children in the United States have been diagnosed with ADHD with more than 60% of those children solely relying on medication for treatment. Following her son’s diagnosis, Dana did what many parents do: began her son on medication. Unfortunately, while helping her son focus, the medication also led to increased anxiety, weight loss, and sleepless nights. Eventually, the side effects became too big to ignore. Leaning on her training in holistic health and nutrition and all of the research she could find, she and her family changed course to an all-natural approach that has enabled her son to thrive.
